After a hiatus of four years due to the pandemic, Pinot in the City, hosted by the Willamette Valley Wineries Association, makes its triumphant return to Seattle on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at a location to be announced soon. The WVWA boasts a robust history within the Seattle market, having organized a trade and consumer tasting in 2010, followed by a similar event under the Pinot in the City banner in 2014.
This event will follow a similar model to past Pinot in the City events with an afternoon walk-around trade and media tasting followed by an evening version for ticket-paying consumers.
Seattle was selected as the inaugural city post-hiatus due to its proximity to the Willamette Valley, making it a cost-effective and easily accessible market. Moreover, Seattle stands as a prime destination for tourism to the Willamette Valley and serves as a stronghold for wine club memberships. Lastly, the presence of Willamette Valley winery representatives and targeted distributor outreach will benefit Seattle's restaurants and retailers, amplifying their visibility within the local wine scene.

The 37th Annual Sandestin Wine Festival will take place April 11-14, 2024. The Sandestin Wine Festival has been named the “Best Annual Event” by Destin Magazine, and is known as the Best event in the Visit South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival area. The Sandestin Wine Festival is the most established and continuously running wine festival on the Emerald Coast and has affectionately been called the “Kentucky Derby of Wine Festivals” because of its popularity and grandeur.
The main events, know as our Grand Wine Tastings, showcase more than 500+ domestic and international wines over a two day span. The Grand Tastings take place on Friday, April 12th & Saturday, April 13th. Guests can enjoy the opportunity to talk to vineyard owners and wine makers about their favorite appellations, or maybe try something new. During the Grand Wine Tastings, guests are also treated to a gourmet experience courtesy of some of the best chefs on the Emerald Coast. Savor South Walton tents are sprinkled within the festival to allow guests to pair delectable bite sized appetizers with their current glass selection. And, a new festival favorite, The Bubbly and Boozy tent returns to the Grand Sandestin Lawn, featuring bubbles and spirits galore. Local and regional music also set the vibe for fun days of discovery.
And all ranges of knowledge are encourage to attend to the festival – wine novices to aficionados alike. Festival goers can learn more about wines and through tasting wines from a comprehensive selection from all major producing countries in all varieties, styles and price ranges. Guest are invited to find a favorite, or several. Ticket holders also receive a beautiful Riedel glass etched to commemorate each year’s event for their tastings.

Welcome to Charleston Wine + Food! We’re so excited you are interested in attending the festival! The annual festival takes place the first full weekend in March, and the 2024 dates are March 6-10. Consisting of in-restaurant brunches, lunches, and dinners, cooking classes, beverage workshops, large walkabout thematic events, educational excursions, and a large sampling experience at Riverfront Park, there is an experience for everyone!
