MEET THE Chehalem Mountains Laurelwood AVA, and Laurel Leaf Vineyard!
Get ready for the newest Adelsheim vineyard, Laurel Leaf! Way up in the Chehalem Mountains’ Laurelwood AVA. The Pinot vines here are now the highest in our estate, and they love the cool mountain breezes and warm summer sun. We’ve been working with this fruit for a while and we’re so excited to finally feature a single-vineyard wine from this amazing site.
There will never be another premiere vintage of Laurel Leaf and we’re so proud to share it with our members first!
Laurel Leaf Vineyard
this picturesque site was named after its Laurelwood soil and overlooks 3 iconic northwest mountains: Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens.

We’re excited to offer a look at our newly released sparkling offerings!
The 2018 vintage was nothing less than spectacular, and our 2018 Sparkling Demi-Sec Cuvee follows suit. Here are some notes from our winemaker, Gina Hennen:
‘Always a crowd pleaser, this year’s Demi-Sec is no different. Opening with luscious notes of ripe yellow pear, marzipan, and butterscotch it unfurls across the palate with a sumptuous texture and fine mousse. This is everything I love in a dessert wine—a dollop of sweetness balanced with a backbone of acidity. Simply delicious.’
We’re also excited to release our 2018 Sparkling Brut Cuvee. The grapes for this Brut Cuvee come entirely from our Bryan Creek estate vineyard nestled high in the Chehalem Mountains AVA. Here’s what Gina said about this wine:
‘Resplendent with fresh-picked apricots, white lilacs, falling rain, and crushed oyster shells this wine simply bursts out of the glass in a fury of scents. The mousse is persistent and delightful, and the palate is long and generous. This is a wine that sparks joy.’
