ADELSHEIM EXPLORATION TASTING ($40)

Enjoy a curated, 1 hour wine experience.

The Adelsheim Exploration Tasting is a nod to the curious spirit upon which Adelsheim Vineyard was founded over 53 years ago! Since the very beginning, and as one of the founding families of the Oregon wine industry, we remain driven by the pursuit of world-class winemaking here in this {still} undiscovered wine region that we call home: The Chehalem Mountains.  

This flight celebrates our legacy through a guided tasting showcasing the Chehalem Mountains AVA*, which includes 173 acres of prime vineyard plantings.

Self-guided Willamette flight ($20)

Join us for a laid-back and casual tasting of our Willamette Valley designated wines for only $20/person. Come enjoy our gorgeous covered patio and lush gardens as you sip on these standout selections:

  • 2023 Artist Series Rosé: Perfect for those who enjoy a crisp, easy-drinking wine that pairs beautifully with everything from salads to summer dishes.

  • 2021 Willamette Valley Chardonnay: Expect flavors of green apple, pear, and a hint of vanilla—a great choice for those who appreciate a classic chardonnay with a modern twist.

  • 2022 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir: This wine provides a perfect introduction to the world of Pinot Noir, with its approachable style and engaging notes of cherry and spice.

This tasting is self-guided and designed to be enjoyed at your own pace. Of course, our knowledgeable staff is available for any questions you may have.

Whether you're just starting to explore the world of wine or looking for a casual outing with friends, this tasting is the perfect way to enjoy fantastic wines in the heart of Oregon Wine Country.

Site-Soil-Vintage ($75)

The “SSV” Tasting

Enjoy a curated, 1.5-hour wine experience.

Site-Soil-Vintage is an elevated tasting that reveals a “deeper dive” into the winemaking ethos of Adelsheim and will typically include a Sparkling wine, Chardonnay and Single Vineyard Pinot noirs. This extended tasting concludes with local artisan chocolate truffles.

A CLOSER LOOK:
With an array of vineyard plantings at diverse elevations and a storied legacy over a half century in the making, this is an opportunity to savor limited, small production wines. This creative flight is aptly named to reflect fascinating factors that impact winegrowing. Your tasting may include an examination of:

SITE | Consider location and elevation of a vineyard. A vintage comparison or vertical could be included.

SOIL | Consider the diverse soil compositions such as volcanic, marine sedimentary, and loess. While our home is the Chehalem Mountains AVA in the larger Willamette Valley, that also includes the nested AVAs of Laurelwood District and Ribbon Ridge.

VINTAGE | Consider the age of the wine, whether it’s a library wine or a wine with a few years of age.

cave experience ($95) (Available Dec - APR)

Only available seasonally, we invite you to taste through some of Adelsheim’s most celebrated and limited-production wines -- just steps from where they are crafted. Venture deep into our Chardonnay barrel cave for an intimate, casual, and educational wine and food pairing inspired by our home here in the Chehalem Mountains. This two-hour, private, guided experience is hosted by a wine educator. This experience includes an artisanal Cheese and Charcuterie Board with all the accoutrements.

  • $95 per guest

  • Available 10:30, 12:30, and 2:30 (December - April)

  • Available for up to 8 people

  • Duration: 2 hours

  • Allergen warning: nuts, dairy, gluten

  • We kindly request that every guest experiencing the cave wears close-toed shoes.

  • We encourage guests to dress warmly as the caves are kept at a cool temperature.

  • Club Perk: Complimentary once per year for Club Adelsheim members Heritage - 4 guests, Quarter Mile - 6 guests, Legacy - 8 guests

  • 48-hour minimum advance reservation required

Large Party Tastings

For groups of 9 to 16 guests, Please contact us directly for accommodations.

Reservations are offered at 10:30am, 12:30pm, and 2:30pm. We simply ask for parties of 8 or more that each person commit to doing a tasting ( Adelsheim Exploration flight at $40 per person)  and a 20% gratuity for your wine educator host. We do request full table participation in flight selection.

Adelsheim Exploration Flight 

A Chehalem Mountains showcase featuring 5 current release wines. This flight is great for an introduction to Adelsheim and our region!

Soil - Site - Vintage Flight 

Our elevated flight option typically includes a sparkling wine, and four single vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot noirs. This flight is a deeper dive into our winemaking techniques and sense of place imparted by our more limited production wines or library vintages. 

($75 or waived with $150 bottle purchase)

We can do 1 check and up to two credit cards for payment. 

Parties of 15 or large require a 10 dollars per person deposit.
