In 1971, founders David and Ginny Adelsheim sought a volcanic southern slope in the Chehalem Mountains to plant a vineyard and build a winery. That first property, now named Quarter Mile Lane Vineyard, contains our oldest and most storied vines.

Bryan Creek is lush with ferns, old growth, and native wildlife. This vineyard is home to our second oldest plantings, our only sparkling grape blocks, and high-perched bird boxes for our feathered friends.

Being our only estate vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge sub-AVA, Ribbon Springs is basically its own ecosystem, surrounded by forests, natural habitats, springs, and native wildlife corridors.

Named for the abundance of volcanic boulders found on the property, Boulder Bluff is Adelsheim’s steepest vineyard slope, topping out at 625 feet. The high south-facing hillside and boulders combine to create the perfect microclimate for our Pinot noir and Chardonnay grapes.
