Harvest is unequivocally the most exciting and busiest time of year as we bring in grapes from all six of our vineyard sites here in the Chehalem Mountains.  There is a lot of gratitude and anticipation in the air, and we want to share this experience with you, our devoted Wine Club members.

 We invite you to join us for a “build-your-own picnic basket” lunch with live music on our spacious outdoor patio featuring our newly installed shade-sails. In addition to a progressive tasting of the newly released September club wines, we will be showcasing several library vintages, and exclusive bonus pours. As always, your club orders will be packed and ready for pickup at the end of the event.

I wanted to formally introduce myself as your new Wine Club Manager!

My name is Rachel Smith, and I am new to the beautiful state of Oregon – originally from Southern California, my passion for wine began while I was attending college at Sonoma State University. I started working in the wine industry after graduation and loved it so much that I decided to make it my career, eventually moving to Napa Valley and working my way up the ranks at Domaine Carneros and Alpha Omega Winery.

While my husband and I both enjoyed working in Napa, our growing family meant it was time for a change. In 2022 we made the decision to pack up everything we own (along with our rambunctious toddler) and move to Oregon, where we could be closer to our network of family and friends. It was the best decision we ever made! The community has been so welcoming and we immediately fell in love with the unique spirit and beauty of the Oregon wine country.

I am so excited to continue this new adventure at Adelsheim Vineyard, which has such a rich and significant history in the Oregon wine industry. I look forward to saying hello in person at the winery and at upcoming Wine Club events!
