Find yourself transported to the founding days of Willamette Valley Pinot noir as you dine overlooking Block 1 of Adelsheim’s Quarter Mile Lane. This iconic “backyard” vineyard was hand-planted in 1972 by David and Ginny Adelsheim in what was then a brand new wine region, the Chehalem Mountains. IPNC President Matt Berson and Host Steven Spurrier (yes, THE Steven Spurrier, who staged the Judgement of Paris in 1976!) will join special guests from French wineries, Antonin Rodet and Chateau de Chamirey at this memorable dinner hosted at the home of David Adelsheim and Eugenia Keegan.
Diners will enjoy a world-class meal prepared by Chef Michael Kessler of Toro Bravo fame as the winemakers share the story behind the wines of Oregon and Burgundy. To honor and celebrate the decades-long collaboration between Burgundy and the Willamette Valley, a selection of wines brought back from David Adelsheim’s recent trip to France will be served alongside wines from Adelsheim and Love & Squalor. It will truly be a night to remember.
