It opens with lovely and lifted raspberry and cinnamon notes, but then it takes a turn and deepens into purple lilac, warm boysenberry, and cedar bark along with an intriguing dark loam quality. That rush of complexity carries into the palate, supported by supple tannins and a pleasant chew. The overall impression is delightful and leaves me wanting another glass”
