2018 Boulder Bluff Pinot Noir
2018 Boulder Bluff Pinot Noir
RASPBERRY | CINNAMON BARK | LAYERED
“This is an enticing view of Boulder Bluff, replete with layered aromas of cinnamon bark, forest floor, fresh raspberries, and a breath of delicately perfumed flowers. In the mouth it is deft and structured, with a high-tension wire threaded through the palate. The tannins frame the wine and provide just enough texture to keep things interesting. This is the rare wine that will age beautifully yet also tastes exceptional today.”

Learn about
Boulder Bluff Vineyard
It may be our smallest estate vineyard at only 9.91 acres, but Boulder Bluff is the most difficult to farm. Its elevation ranges from 485 to 625 feet, and sits on a steep, south-facing hill. The volcanic soil is inhabited with large boulders that warm the roots of our Pinot noir and Chardonnay vines, but can also tip a tractor over if you’re not careful. First planted in 2003, Boulder Bluff is one of our youngest vineyards, but sits just steps away from our oldest site, Quarter Mile Lane.
