“Our first extended tirage Rose has been resting quietly for eight long years in the bottle ahead of its big debut. The freshness of the fruit after that leisurely repose is quite stunning. I expected the delicious yeasty brioche notes typical of long sur lie aging but was surprised and delighted to find this wine leading with fresh apricot and nectarine aromas. The palate is complex and lustrous with a long, long, long finish. It is simply stunning. I apologize in advance for setting aside such a tiny amount of this wine.”
