Past + Present: A Remarkable Present
Past + Present: A Remarkable Present
Explore our most demure and steepest vineyard, from years past, to today.
Boulder Bluff is named for the abundance of volcanic boulders found in the vineyard. The combination of high elevation, boulder temperature impact, and volcanic soil result in vibrant complexity.
The past: The 2015 vintage is exclusively available through this collection. This is a limited library release and is fantastic insight to the ageablity of this wine.

Learn about
Boulder Bluff Vineyard
It may be our smallest estate vineyard at only 9.91 acres, but Boulder Bluff is the most difficult to farm. Its elevation ranges from 485 to 625 feet, and sits on a steep, south-facing hill. The volcanic soil is inhabited with large boulders that warm the roots of our Pinot noir and Chardonnay vines, but can also tip a tractor over if you’re not careful. First planted in 2003, Boulder Bluff is one of our youngest vineyards, but sits just steps away from our oldest site, Quarter Mile Lane.
